Does acquiring knowledge destroy our sense of wonder? Discuss with reference to two areas of knowledge.

Well, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. A kid who wonders how her toy works might not be curious anymore when she learns about it, and a physicist would start wondering more about the universe when she acquires knowledge about the universe.

The real-life examples that you need for this title are the ones that show knowledge producers kept the experiments, research, and curiosity going and the ones that show they felt satisfied and stopped. The problem is you can’t show for certain that their sense of wonder was destroyed, you can merely assume they stopped wondering, or in the harsh way that the title has put it, “their sense of wonder was destroyed.”

There are many reasons not to like this title, but this last one could be the biggest.
